Liz Watches: Supernatural Season 3, Episode 4: Sin City (SPOILER BLOG)

Question: Do I care?
Answer: No.

This is just another demon storyline. It’s Dean and Sam getting separated and then Sam trying to find him for an entire episode. And why does it have to be the priest? Of course he’s evil. This is ridiculous.

The only interesting thing that happened in this episode was the demon’s speech. It’s another one of those uncomfortable truths, just like the one dispelled by Envy in the season opener. Sometimes, all people need to sin is temptation; demons don’t really even have to lift a finger. Humans do a pretty bang up job of fucking themselves over without any hellish influence.

Oh, and Angry!Sam has returned. He’s very cranky and he wants demons dead, so watch out.

Oh, and Ruby. That’s all. Just Ruby.

Looking back, I guess we do find out some important stuff, like the fact that its anarchy in Hell without Azazel and Sam, and a little bit more of Ruby’s character is revealed. But I’m tired and it just didn’t hold my attention. It happens. Season 3 isn’t my favorite.
